Igor Arume earned his BFA from the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and his MA from the State University of Rio de Janeiro. He is a designer, visual artist, researcher and collector working at the multiple intersections between graphic design, printmaking and publishing. He investigates critical issues within the fields of design and media like appropriation, found image and publishing as artistic practice. Arume is a first year MFA candidate in RISO.
