Igor Arume holds a Bachelor's in Design from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and a Master's in Design from the State University of Rio de Janeiro. He is a designer, artist, researcher, collector, and educator examining archive material and found images to answer ontological questions about authorship, ownership, and the technical means of reproduction. His work originates as a research-based (post-)photographic artistic exploration scrutinizing bureaucratic documents by the institutional apparatus. Arume is a third-year MFA student in RISO
