Hanieh Darvishian

Hanieh Darvishian (She/Her) is an Iranian-born artist and researcher working across printmaking, mixed media, and installation. Drawing on family photographs, personal archives, objects, and Persian visual traditions, her practice explores memory, displacement, identity, Nostalgia,  and the ways images and materials carry personal and cultural histories. Her work brings together studio practice and art historical research through archival research, close looking, and material analysis. She is currently a first year MA candidate in Art History at the University of Missouri.
