The SVS congratulates Mariana Guzmán, second-year PhD student in Art History, whose poster presentation on the Carta Ejecutoria of Doña Guiomar won second prize at the 39th annual GPC Research and Creative Arts Forum. The Carta is an illuminated manuscript, currently on loan to MU's Special Collections, that was created in Granada to celebrate the successful legal action to confirm Doña Guiomar's noble status in 1593.
