Jackson Brouillette, Film Student
Jackson Brouillette is a double major studying both Film Studies and Interdisciplinary Studies with emphasis in Marketing and Psychology.
We asked Jackson to tell us little bit about himself as a student and progress on his senior thesis which is a short film.
“I don't know if I necessarily have a specialty in film, but I love to write, direct, and operating the camera. Still young enough to experiment with all the different roles on set.
My thesis is titled "Knockin' Doors", and it is about a young man's first day at a door-to-door sales job. It is a comedic short film but could also be taken like the first episode of a sitcom, running around twenty minutes long.
After graduation I am going back to Kansas City with my family and working as a PA (Production Assistant) on films/commercials while also pursuing the dream of directing full time until I figure out where I would like to move to further pursue a career in the film industry.”
