Jordan Rhodes (MA, ’21) was the recipient of the University of Missouri’s 2021 Distinguished Master’s Thesis Award, which honors the university’s top-ranked thesis, for “An Analysis of Katharina Sieverding’s Schlachtfeld Deutschland XI/78.” Rhodes examined the relationships between art, aesthetics, political violence, and the German state in the 1970s.
