Film Studies grad, Allyson Minor's film, "Since She Lived" is streaming this month at the Safflicks Film Festival.

Safflicks is a one month festival showcasing lesbian and  bisexual stories from across the world on the big screen. Exploring love, grief and identity across our community. Proudly showcasing 11 short films across multiple genres, including drama, romance and comedy, there's something for everyone who loves film.

The film is Minor's senior thesis project which over the past year and a half she has polished and submitted to festivals all over the map! 

Minor graduated in May of 2022 with a BA in film studies, emphasis in production from MU's School of Visual Studies. She currently freelances in Missouri as grip and electric, along with occasional assistant director when she's am not producing my own work.

Minor says, "This would not have been possible without the help of the amazing film faculty, who assisted me even after graduation."
