MU Emeritus Faculty opens exhibition at the National Quilt Museum

The work of MU emeritus faculty member, Jean Brueggenjohann and husband, James Reese is currently on exhibit at the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, Kentucky. Divergent Paths – Altered Realism & Abstraction will be displayed Nov. 13-Mar. 5, 2023.

Brueggenjohann is an emeritus faculty member and former department chair who taught graphic design at Mizzou's School of Visual Studies. Her work has been published in many books and periodicals and has been exhibited numerous times in The National Quilt Museum among many other national and international venues.

Her early research was centered in design for print, primarily book design for non-profit and foundation clients. She designed the Harvard University Art Museums, A Guide to the Collections for the Harvard Art Museums, which include the Fogg Art Museum, Arthur M. Sackler Museum and Busch-Reisinger Museum collections.
