SVS film student, Emily Schmidt, had their capstone short film selected to show at the No Coast Film Festival in Kansas come August!

Emily is an SVS student majoring in Film Studies with an emphasis in Production and a minor in Psychology. 

Emily states, "My capstone film Distorted explores the relationship between two roommates as one navigates the pressures of self-worth and body image as he struggles with disordered eating and muscle dysmorphia. 

My capstone was selected to show at the No Coast Film Festival in Emporia, Kansas this August between the 25-27th." 

Distorted is not quite ready for public release while it is being entered into festivals.
