School of Visual Studies faculty are active artists and scholars who educate creative, empowered, and ethical citizens with the skills to shape communities and contribute to local and global professional discourses. School of Visual Studies students study the historical and contemporary significance and effects of visual media in society to become innovative practitioners and thinkers within the fields of art, design, and multimedia production. Together we produce and disseminate new works that imaginatively meet the social and cultural demands of our time.
