Yvonne Osei received her MFA in Visual Arts from the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She received a BFA and a BA with a concentration in International Studies from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri and is pursuing an MA in Fashion Design and Business at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO. Osei is the 2016–17 Romare Bearden Graduate Minority Fellow at the Saint Louis Art Museum; she is currently the inaugural Curator-In-Residence at the Center of Creative Arts (COCA) and an Adjunct Professor at Webster University in St. Louis, MO. Her latest solo exhibition, “Tailored Landscapes”, was at Laumeier Sculpture Park, St. Louis, MO (2018). In 2023 she was one of the artist featured in the Great Rivers Biennial at the Contemporary Art Museum of Saint Louis.

The Lecture Series is presented by the Museum of Art and Archaeology and the School of Visual Studies with public support from the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency.
